Installation Method Of Injection Lock Module

Installation method of injection lock module
The injection molding lock module is a crucial component of the injection molding machine. The quality of its installation directly impacts the machine’s operational accuracy and production safety, so it must be installed strictly in accordance with standard procedures. Before installation, the lock module must be thoroughly inspected to check for external damage, the completeness of all components, and the dimensional accuracy of key areas. Clean the mounting surface, removing any oil, rust, dust, and other debris to ensure it is smooth and flat. Use a spirit level and feeler gauge to inspect the mounting surface. Any unevenness should be polished or scraped until it meets installation requirements. Additionally, prepare the necessary tools and materials, such as wrenches, screwdrivers, dowel pins, bolts, and gaskets, to ensure a smooth installation.

Next is the positioning and installation of the lock module. This step requires ensuring the accuracy of the relative position of the lock module and the injection molding machine template. First, slowly hoist the lock module to the installation position, and use the positioning holes on the template and the positioning pins on the lock module for preliminary positioning to ensure that the center of the lock module is aligned with the center of the template. Then, use temporary bolts to gently fix the lock module to the template, and do not tighten it completely to allow for subsequent position adjustment. Use a dial indicator or micrometer to check the flatness and verticality of the lock module, and adjust the position of the lock module by adjusting the thickness of the gasket so that the mounting surface of the lock module remains parallel to the reference plane of the template, and the verticality error is controlled within the specified range. After accurate positioning, remove the temporary bolts, replace them with formal bolts, and tighten them evenly in the specified order and torque to ensure that the lock module fits tightly against the template to avoid looseness or deformation.

The installation of the guide mechanism of the lock module is a key link to ensure its movement accuracy. The guide mechanism usually includes a guide post and a guide sleeve. During installation, it is necessary to ensure that the fitting clearance between the guide post and the guide sleeve meets the requirements. First, clean the mounting holes of the guide post and the guide sleeve, remove burrs and debris, then apply an appropriate amount of lubricating oil on the surface of the guide post, and slowly press the guide post into the mounting hole of the lock module. Be careful to avoid knocking to cause deformation of the guide post. After the guide post is installed, install the guide sleeve into the corresponding template hole. Also, ensure that the axis of the guide sleeve coincides with the axis of the mounting hole. After the installation is completed, push the lock module to perform reciprocating motion and check whether the guide mechanism operates smoothly and whether there is any jamming or abnormal noise. If any problems are found, it is necessary to adjust the position of the guide post and guide sleeve or replace parts in time to ensure that the guide mechanism can accurately guide the movement of the lock module and improve the clamping accuracy.

Connecting the hydraulic and electrical lines is a crucial component of installing the injection molding lock module and must be performed strictly in accordance with the design drawings. Before connecting the hydraulic lines, check that the model and specifications of the lines match the interfaces on the lock module. Clean any impurities and oil from the lines to prevent blockage in the hydraulic system. Align the line connector with the interface on the lock module and tighten slowly with a wrench. Be careful not to use excessive force, which may damage the connector. Ensure a good seal to prevent hydraulic fluid leakage. When connecting the electrical lines, distinguish between different line functions. Firmly connect the wires to the terminals on the lock module according to the wiring diagram, and ensure proper insulation to prevent short circuits or leakage. After the connections are complete, organize the lines and secure them in their designated locations to prevent entanglement or collisions when the lock module is in motion.

After installation, the injection molding lock module requires debugging and a trial run to verify that the installation meets requirements. First, conduct a no-load test run. Start the injection molding machine and allow the lock module to perform multiple clamping and opening movements. Observe its smooth movement, uniform speed, and any abnormal noise or vibration. During the test run, use a pressure gauge to check that the clamping force reaches the specified value and the clamping position is accurate. If insufficient clamping force or position deviation is detected, adjust the hydraulic system pressure parameters or the position of the lock module. Next, conduct a loaded test run. After the mold is installed, perform a small number of injection molding operations to verify the quality of the plastic parts and the stability and reliability of the lock module during operation. After the test run, inspect all connections of the lock module and retighten all bolts to ensure that they are not loose. Only after rigorous debugging and trial runs have confirmed that the lock module has been properly installed can the machine be put into full production.
